This beautiful country house in situated on a hill overlooking Galloway. It is full of antique furniture. lovely paintings, flowers and is known for its culinary delights.
Guests benefit from attention to detail in the bedrooms and public rooms and from the quality of produce used. It may include locally smoked salmon, home reared organic lamb estate game with home grown vegetables and homemade bread and sweets not for the calorie conscious.
All bedrooms are ensuite and generously proportioned and some have French windows. They are decorated in different styles, Indian, rennie Macintosh, Chinese, Victorian to name some. the dinning is very grand with a massive communal oak table and off this room is a billiard room with honesty bar.
