Description:
Ian and Gill McDougall look forward to offering you a warm welcome when you arrive at our 11 bedroom licensed guest house on the edge of the pretty Highland village of Spean Bridge, some 9 miles from Fort William.
The village itself has two restaurants, two pubs, a village shop, post office and a woollen mill/craft shop all within easy walking distance.
Whilst looking out over the Leanachan forest and the magnificent Grey Corries guests can enjoy a hearty and delicious breakfast with variety of fruits, yogurts, cereals and juices and full Scottish breakfast for those with larger appetites.
By arrangement we can provide packed lunches and evening meals. We pride our selves in producing excellent home cooked food using local produce wherever possible. Vegetarian options are available at all meals.
Coire Glas is situated at the edge of the Village of Spean Bridge in grounds of approximately one acre facing south it looks out over the spectacular Grey Corries. In a sheltered position surrounded on three sides by trees Coire Glas faces south so that guests can sit outside and enjoy the spectacular views of the Grey Corries ski slopes of Aonach Mor, home to Nevis Range Ski Resort.

A pleasant stay, rooms were small and basic with hard beds, but it was clean adn the shower was good. A good breakfast from fresh produce, I had smoked salmon and scambled egg, which was very good and although the small portion suited me - I think others would have still been hungry. Everything was run like a military operation with no room for flexibility, I had asked for an earlier breakfast, but 8am was the earliest we could have for a cooked breakfast.
