Description:
We are a small B & B in St Mabyn. With a 3 Diamond rating from the ETC.
We have one double room, and one family room with one double bed & bunk beds, There are radio alarm clock, hair drier, tea and coffee and hand basins in both of the bedrooms.
St Mabyn is a small quiet village in North Cornwall. It is centrally situated for either the moors or the beaches. As Cornwall is bordered on three sides by coastline there is no lack of beaches. Polzeath is probably the nearest beach to St Mabyn, about 20 minutes by car. There are other coastal towns nearer but they do not have much in the way of beaches. Port Isaac is a charming picturesque old fishing port, but not much beach. Padstow is another working harbour on the Camel estuary. Why not try cycling on the Camel Trail. The Camel Trail offers traffic free cycling and walking between Bodmin and Padstow on the north coast or to Poley's Bridge on Bodmin Moor.
Location:
Go through the town, take the A389 towards Wadebridge. Follow this road for approximately 3 mile. You should then turn right at the top of the hill onto the B3266 towards Camelford. Follow this road for approximately another 3 miles. Turn left for St Mabyn.
When you get to the village you should have the St Mabyn Inn on your left. Take the next left turn immediately after the pub, this will bring you into Wadebridge Road. You should then pass the Church, the school and the village hall on the left. We are about 200-300 yds further on again on the left. The name of the house is on a white sign on the hedge.
