Listed in the National Register, this historic Victorian mansion was one of the area’s first summer cottages. Sitting on a terraced hillside with gardens on two sides, this inn has offered warm hospitality for more than 50 years. Enjoy games, puzzles and books or converse by the fire. In the afternoon, beverages are served with fresh-baked cookies. The spacious guest bedrooms and suites are traditionally decorated and elegantly furnished with antiques. Some feature fireplaces, whirlpool tubs, balconies and beamed ceilings. Three hot entrees are served each morning with baked goods and fresh fruit. Choices may include rolled herb soufflé, cinnamon raisin French toast and blueberry pancakes with bacon or sausage.
