A sitting area around a wood stove is available on the first floor as well as two additional sitting areas on the upper level.Outside, a lovely screened porch and open decks surround the property.
The Chestnut Hill Inn is located on the Town of Long Island in Casco Bay, off the coast of Portland, Maine. A 45 minute ferry ride on Casco Bay Lines brings you to Marriner Wharf, facing the Long Island Town Hall. Long Island has a long history in New England, having been inhabited for nearly 400 years. Its primary activities are fishing, farming, and tourism.

Information on area attractions, daily or evening cruises, whale watching, golfing, dining, dancing and entertainment, etc., are all available. Many visitors enjoy searching for our wildflowers and watching the numerous bird species found on Long Island. For our guests' convenience, we will supply beach wagons, bicycles and sand chairs on a first come, first-served basis.
