Description:
Providing excellent Bed and Breakfast accommodation in Creetown, a small quiet coastal village, where we hope you will find a "home from home". It is ideally situated as a base for walking, cycling, bird watching, fishing and golf. Creetown boasts two small hotels where evening meals are available, as well as the famous Gem Rock Museum and the Creetown Heritage Centre, all of which are only a short walk from us.
Cherrytrees was built in 1746 - a year after Bonnie Prince Charlie failed to win the Crown - and is believed to be the second oldest in the village. Although a listed building it has been sympathetically updated, providing modern comfort whilst retaining its character and charm .The lounge for instance has a particular feature, its high ceiling with ornate early 19th Century plaster work. It is situated on the first floor, and is available for the sole use of our guests. The house is fully centrally heated with double glazing to all rooms.
At Cherrytrees we do not like to place restrictions on our guests and to that end you may come and go as you please and the use of our beautiful garden and patio area are available to you.For your safety and comfort Cherrytrees is a No Smoking house, but the patio and garden are available for those who partake.
