We are your hosts, Judith and Joy. We know how to help you unwind from your busy, everyday lives, looking after all those important little things that define comfort and hospitality. Our location is superb - just a few minutes stroll through the Cathedral gardens to the main street with its cafes, restaurants, galleries and shopping.

Set on high ground in the centre of the city, the Inn looks out over the tree tops to the hills that surround Nelson on three sides. The ocean is just out of sight, except in winter when some of the trees lose their leaves. For the comfort of all our guests, the Inn is smoke-free inside.

There are seven guest bedrooms, five Superior and two Standard, each with its own bathroom. Bedrooms are upstairs - quiet and private - served by a luggage elevator for your convenience. Rooms are individually decorated, some with treasures from our travels abroad, others with local arts.

All have top quality beds and linen, black-out drapes, electric blankets, hairdryers and curling irons, bathrobes, television, direct dial telephone, data point, workspace, fresh flowers. Superior rooms have King, Queen or Twin beds. Standard rooms have Queen or Twin beds. They have rather less floor space than the Superior rooms. Ideal for the single traveller or those who are travelling light. Rooms are serviced daily.
