Agatha Christie's Greenway is on the walk to the foot ferry over to the picturesque Dittisham, or historic Berry Head is a short drive away.
Blackpool sands and Slapton are across the Dartmouth ferry.
For family outings Torbay offers a variety of tourist attractions, from adventure parks to water parks to the zoo and the newer living coasts.
