Breakfast at Capernwray is served in the dining hall, where guests meet to plan their day. We are pleased to use locally grown produce , freshly cured bacon and free range eggs. Our home made bread and preserves are something of talking point.
Evening meals are also available by arrangement,alternatively a number of village pubs and restaurants are within easy reach.
Beautiful country house set in 18 acres of rolling countryside. Tastefully decorated throughout. Our bedrooms have all the usual en-suite 'trappings', plus many other 'little touches' to make your stay even more comfortable. Situated in a lovely position, Capernwray house is very nice and clean, and we received a very warm welcome. The room was large as was the bathroom, which had good toiletaries. The breakfast was excellent. Highly recommended.

My stay at Capernwray House was wonderful. The room was nice, very clean and had a private bath. The owners were kind and the breakfast was good. I would definitey stay there again!

The Capernwray Guest House is fantastic. I had been traveling awhile and I was exhausted when I got there, but I had the best sleep I had had in weeks. The breakfast is excellent. The owners are so helpful and friendly. Great as hosts and great to just have a chat with. The place is very comfortable and well worth the small price. Plus, there are other travelers who pass through that make for friendly and interesting company. I would definitely recommend it to anyone and have already told my parents they need to stay there next time they travel to the north of England.
