A warm welcome awaits guests' for a relaxing and informal visit to Burnfoot. Situated in the heart of Northumberland, 5 miles north of Rothbury, enjoying the peace and tranquility of the Netherton Valley, amid open countryside, streams and woods.
Burnfoot is an ideal base for touring, all the popular visitors' sites are within a half hours drive, with Edinburgh, just over an hours drive away and after a tiring day of sightseeing, returning to relax, ready for the next day, in accommodation which are double, twin or family rooms, comfortable and tastefully decorated, with en suite or private adjacent bathrooms, all which have baths and showering facilities. Well stocked hospitality trays and personal toiletries are available in each room as well as TV/VCR, and a good selection of videos to watch. Afternnon tea is available to guests, with homemade scones and cakes to whet the appetite.
Our two restaurants offer English and Seafood Menus, serving quality, fresh produce, locally sourced.
It is very much a family home, where children are welcomed, whatever their age, when toys, books, videos keep them amused indoors, and play area, swings, rabbits, horses and other assorted pets will always welcome a visit.
Burnfoot is also a recommended Walker and Cyclist accommodation and we are not far from the Pennine Way.
We also offer 'bring your own horse holidays', no need to leave your best friend home, when you can enjoy some of the most wonderful countryside and bridleways.
