Broadgates is situated in the heart of Coltishall which is said to be one of the prettiest villages in Norfolk, six miles from Norwich, two-and-a-half miles from Wroxham, and twelve miles from the coast.

The picturesque Coltishall Common, a place where the unique Norfolk Wherries loaded and discharged their cargo in a bygone age, now a mooring place for pleasure craft using the River Bure which connects into the Broads waterway system (an ancient trading route) with boat access to over 200 miles of waterways.

Broadgates consists of two self contained annexes to cater for those wishing for longer stay self catering accommodation or alternatively short stay B+B including breakfast.

Annexe 1 consists of 1st floor accommodation lounge/kitchen, bedroom sleeps 2/3 en-suite shower and toilet. Entrance/exit by external, covered stairs. Those opting for self catering will find the annexe fully equipped to a high standard. T.V, video, microwave, full sized cooker, fridge, freezer, washing machine and gas central heating.

Annexe 2 is ground floor accommodation with its own entrance/exit, fully equipped to the same high standard as annexe 1. Sleeps 2. Bed linen and towels are provided, There is ample off-road parking If required the annexes can be serviced on a daily basis.

Personal attention from the proprietor (a Norfolk person) is assured, as is a friendly atmosphere with advice and local knowledge to make your stay memorable and enjoyable.

Whether you decide to visit the Broads on one of the many touring excursions, or by the independence of your own hire craft, take in local stately homes, gardens and attractions, ride on the narrow gauge steam railway from Wroxham (which boasts the worlds 'largest village store'), visit the historical city of Norwich, take a trip to the coast, or just enjoy the Norfolk countryside - the choice is yours.

We were greeted by the owners who made us very welcome. The accomodation was excellent. Would recomend Broadgates to all family and friends. The flat we had was perfect.

Excellent. The ownerse were most helpful and friendly. Everything we needed was there and we couldn't have been better looked after. We will go again.
