Description:
This traditional Victorian Townhouse has been completely refurbished and now offers Bed&Breakfast 5 luxury rooms, single, twin, double & family accommodation. 4 en-suite and 1 (The Den), with its own lockable private facilities. The theme of our renovations were based on Brandelhow Park/Wood, besides Derwentwater, purchased by the National Trust in 1904, to provide Cumbrian charm & character to our guest’s accommodation. Hence the room names, photos and pictures throughout our home.
Our warm welcome includes a selection of home made cakes offered on arrival. Made using Cumbrian recipes handed down through many generations of our family. Our high standard of Comfort and Cleanliness has been rewarded with the AA Highly Commended award for 4 star, and the VisitBritain Silver award for 4 star, which places us in the top 10% of UK Accommodation providers. Our bed and breakfast, packed lunch menus have been designed and developed using local ingredients. We offer a Full English Breakfast along with a range of Elegant Alternatives, Also special diets for Vegetarian, Lactose and Gluten Intolerance.
