Description:
Blue Hayes is a small private hotel set in its own grounds above Porthminster Beach, overlooking St Ives Bay and harbour, with its own car park in front of the hotel. Being situated on the South West Coastal Path, you can walk directly from our garden gate down to the beach below in about five minutes, and then along into the harbour in about ten minutes.
We catch the first of the days sun and bask amongst tropical plants and pines. We prepare breakfast with the finest, mainly local, ingredients, and often serve on the terrace. After a great day on the beach you may take supper on the terrace or stroll down to one of the excellent restaurants in the town. Our guests seem drawn to spend as much time as possible on the terrace, the warm breeze, the sun, the vista and cocktails from the imaginatively stocked licensed bar.
We have just five luxurious rooms, all of which have en-suite bathrooms with baths and state-of-the-art showers with body jets.
MASTER SUITE has a four-poster bed, large bathroom with large Bath, separate Shower and WC. French doors open on to a private balcony, with table and two chairs, overlooking the harbour and the Bay. GODREVY SUITE has excellent sea views, and is an extra large room that can accommodate two extra single beds plus Double or Twin Beds. Full en-suite facilities including Shower / Bath and WC. BAY SUITE has stunning sea views, and you can lie in bed and simply watch the sea….. Double or Twin Beds. Full en-suite facilities including Bath, separate Shower and WC. GARDEN SUITE has beautiful garden views, with French doors opening on to a garden patio with table and chairs. Large bathroom with large Bath, separate Shower and WC. TRELYON SUITE has French doors opening on to a large private roof terrace with palms and other plants, from where there are sea views across to Godley lighthouse. Double or Twin Beds. Full en-suite facilities including Shower / Bath and WC.
