Friendly proprietors Lesley and Robert are super hosts and ensure all their guests are well looked after. Bedrooms are neatly appointed and thoughtfully equipped. There are also a number of beautiful Gardens open to the public within easy reach of Portpatrick. See the locations used in BBC TV's 2000 ACRES of SKY or just relax in or around one of our excellent Restaurants, Pubs or Curiosity Shops. Blinkbonnie Guest House is a modern villa standing high on the shoulder of a thickly wooded glen which leads down to the sea at the picturesque harbour of Portpatrick. Standing within its own landscaped garden with palm trees and gently sloping lawns, Blinkbonnie's guests can look west over the village towards the Irish Sea. At night the horizon twinkles with the lights of the coastal villages of Ireland. The Harbour, Seafront, Shops and Restaurants are all within minutes walk. And yes, we do have Palm Trees growing all year around!
All the bedrooms at Blinkbonnie are en-suite and are located on the ground floor. The rooms are individually furnished double or twins, all are double glazed and central heated. Colour TV and hospitality trays are provided for your convenience and comfort. The lounge at Blinkbonnie has a 12ft window giving panoramic views across Portpatrick towards Ireland and the Mountains Mourne. Comfortable and relaxing, the lounge is the perfect place to unwind, watch the ships go by, monitor activity on the harbour or, at night, watch the sunset.
