Stapleton's Chantry is a lovely 16th Century family home, in a peaceful and very beautiful village, conveniently located for access to Abingdon, Didcot, Oxford, Wallingford, River Thames, Oxfordshire Cycleway, Ridgeway Path, Henley on Thames and Oxfordshire. We offer exceptional comfort, very welcoming and flexible hosts, and look forward to having you come stay with us. Harwell, Rutherford Appleton Laboratories, Culham, Diamond Syncatron,Milton Business Park Abingdon, are all easily reached, our rooms have desks for working plus wireless broadband available in all rooms and in public areas.
Our very friendly and pretty village pub, The Bear Inn, serves very good home cooked meals seven days a week, excellent beer and wine. Plus we have a Michelin Pub Guide starred restaurant close-by and lots of other excellent places to eat from La Manoir aux Quats Saisons to lovely traditional English Pubs.
