Description:
West Devon is without doubt one of life’s best kept secrets, where the welcome is always warm, and the clock somehow seems slower; so stop, rest and enjoy!

The Inn adjoins a new national cycle route and bridleway; from our garden you can walk straight out onto Dartmoor, or cycle to Okehampton and beyond.
Bearslake is situated of the edge of the Dartmoor National Park, the most southerly National Park in Britain covering circa 368 square miles.

It is a rugged open landscape dominated by high granite Tors. There are a variety of activities, including walking, horse riding, fishing and cycling, in addition to visiting the local National Trust properties and many places of interest.

Lake is a small hamlet within the village of Sourton, on the North West fringes of the Dartmoor National Park. The Inn stands on the side of the busy A386, which extends from the main A30 dual carriageway at Okehampton in the north, with a fast link to Exeter and the M5 motorway, then south to Tavistock and on to Plymouth and the main A38 to South Devon and Cornwall. The North Devon coast is less than 30 minute away and Plymouth less than an hour.
