The apartments are exceptionally clean and well maintained, New for 2008 the 2 bedroom garden apt very spacious and modern. All have been decorated and modernised. Barford house is now wi-fi enabled.

A laundry room is available for guest use. The house is fully heated and trades throughout the year and is ideal for holiday, golf or business use, where that ‘come and go as you please’ situation is a real benefit.

The fire authority has awarded a Gold Sleep Safe certificate for fire detection and sprinkler system.

Barford house offers quality apartments which were recently graded by Visit Britain and were very proud to announce we now have three 4* apts and one 3* apt.

Southport has something for everyone from wonderful restaurantes, bistros, wine bars, cafes, pubs, night clubs,golf courses, walking and cycling, nature reserves, bingo halls, churches, cinema, ten pin bowling, splash world, botanical gardens, hesketh park, swimming baths, Lord street with all it's wonderful shops and boutiques. Southport is well known for the flower show in August, and the woodvale rally, then there is the Southport air show and the musical firework championships, there really is something for everyone.

Why not jump the train through to Liverpool Capital of culture for 2008, and visit the new Liverpool one shopping complex with it's 14 screen cinema which has just recently been opened by Princess Anne. There are museums, art galleries, cathedrals and theatres. Have a meal in china town and take in a show. Take the ferry across the Mersey or go and do the beatles tour whatever you decide a day wont be enough to take in all the sights in Liverpool I can ssure you of that.

For all those who love their golf we have many wonderful courses as follows: Royal Birkdale, Formby, Southport & Ainsdale, Hesketh, Formby Hall Golf Resort,Formby ladies, Hillside, all of these are within easy reach then if you want to drive further a field we have Royal Lytham & St Annes, Royal Liverpool, west Lancs, Heswall and Wallasy. You really are spoilt for choice. The municipal is at the end of Avondale Road and the Hesketh is a stones throw away.

Here at Barford house we really do care and assure you of every comfort while you stay with us so come and visit us whether it's for a weekend or week you will defintely want to come again as many of our regulars do year after year. We offer a warm hearty welcome.

Guests are supplied with a wecome tray on arrival with tea, a jar of coffee, sugar, herbal teas, biscuits plus two pints of milk in the fridge. I also supply tea towels, oven glove, kitchen roll, tin foil, cling film, dish cloth and sponge. Cleaning products such as washing up liquid, furniture polish and glass cleaner can be found under the sink. In the bathroom there is shower gel, hand wash and toilet rolls.

My price is also inclusive of clean fresh bedding and towels. There is no need to bring your own towels as these can be changed as and when you need clean ones. I also have a travel cot and high chair for those guests with babies.
All apartments have iron, ironing board and hairdryer as standard items.
