Description:
"Welcome to Avellan Inn!" Located on twelve acres that include a hazelnut orchard, landscaped garden, pond, and woods. Avellan Inn is named after the botanical classification Corylus avellana and for the ancient town of Avellan in Campania, Italy, famous for its hazelnut orchards. Learn more about this industry and why the Willamette Valley grows 99% of the U.S. hazelnut crop.
The Inn is open under new ownership. Many of Avellan Inn's trademarks will remain. Updated decor is planned along with fresh ideas throughout the inn. An enthusiastic Innkeeper will ensure that your visit will be memorable.
Located in the heart of wine country, just 30 miles south of Portland, and 60 miles from the Oregon Coast, Avellan Inn Bed & Breakfast is the perfect starting point for seeing Oregon at its best. Our Yamhill County vineyards produce more wine than any other county in the state. The Inn's wooded grounds feature great bird watching.
A five-course breakfast features fruits, nuts and berries from the farm, homemade hazelnut granola, fresh-baked breads, tasty entrees and dessert. Breakfast at Avellan Inn is a feast that delights all of the senses. Serving times are flexible and special diets are accommodated.
