We like to think of ourselves as the best kept secret in Georgia. The five acre Ashford Estate, overlooking Watkinsville's venerable Main Street, had been in the same family for over 100 years.
Completely surrounded and secluded by a border of magnolias, red buds and pines, the 1893 Victorian manor house, cottage, gazebo and four acres of landscaped gardens all terrace down to a pool and open woods and creek beyond. We are walking distance to antique shops and art galleries of local fine and folk art talent.
ot always standard at bed and breakfasts, all of our guest accommodations have private baths, dedicated telephone lines and cable televisions. Additionally, our rooms are equipped with coffeemakers stocked with private label coffees and teas, refrigerators, bottled water, irons, ironing boards, luxury bathrobes, towels and quality bath products.
The house is fully non-smoking. However the main porches, poolside sitting areas and acres of outdoor areas provide privacy for smokers. A couple of our rooms, available by request, have private porches for smoking. Free Wireless Internet Now Available
