Ardlair Guest House is situated five minutes from Inverness town centre which offers shopping facilities, as well as a regular train and bus service to and from Scotland's major cities, England and the North and West Coast.Ardlair is ten minutes from Inverness's Eden Court Theatre and the picturesque Ness Islands, Bught Park and Whin Park with its miniature Steam Railway, children's adventure playground and boating pond.
Inverness also offers a new multi-screen cinema, the Aquadome, ten-pin bowling alley and much much more. Many country walks are available in the surrounding area and details of routes, etc can be obtained from the tourist centre in the Town. Tours by road or rail can be made to Aberdeen in the East, Thurso in the north and Kyle of Lochalsh on the West Coast. Day trips to the Orkney Islands are also available.
