Description:
See feel and taste old New England. Experience colonial New England firsthand during your stay in the Riggs house. Enjoy its period furnishings, including historic furniture, cooking, and household implements (many in the Riggs family for nine generations).

Three accommodations are available. Two in the old part of the house have 18th-c. paneling and fireplaces. One can be ensuite with the center bed chamber. There is also the loft in the wing with a view of Annisquam Village and its harbor, ensuite with the great room below.

All beds are full size except for the queen-size bed in the main bed chamber. All bed chambers have central air conditioning and modern baths. Ceiling height upstairs in the old part of the house is slightly over 6 feet both for heat and tax purposes (originally the house was taxed as
1-1/2 stories). The loft ceiling is 7 feet.

Your breakfast features delectable New England specialties that you can enjoy in your choice of settings. These include the dining room, the old kitchen or the garden.
