All rooms are ensuite and non-smoking with direct dial telephone and Internet connection, colour television with sky channels, & tea and coffee facilities. Premier rooms are located at the front of the hotel overlooking the harbour, Standard rooms are located on the sides and rear of the hotel.
The newly refurbished drawing room overlooks the harbour, and is the perfect place to calm down after a hard days relaxation. With spectacular views across the bay, and a fantastic, friendly atmosphere, The Anchor Hotel is perfect for your wedding. The service can be held in the hotel itself, or in the gardens behind. The hotel can also be used for your reception, even if you are getting married elsewhere.
The Anchor Hotel holds a civil wedding license and provides a picturesque venue for small weddings (up to 60 people) or receptions (of up to 100). You can also hold your reception with us if you are marrying elsewhere, and obviouslty accommodation can be provided for guests.

The food on the Table d'hote menu at the harbourside restaurant changes daily, but one thing remains the same: The quality. Local produce ensures that whatever the dish, it always tastes fresh. Why not try our Sunday lunches, with two roast meat courses, a fish dish and a vegetarian option always available. The meal consists of an optional three courses, and has proved popular, so advance bookings are advisable, especially for special occasions.
