The personal attention of the resident proprietors ensures not only a warm welcome, but a truly personal service throughout your stay.

The Ambleside offers a high standard of cleanliness, bedrooms are en-suite (comprising shower and wc). Each room is spacious and comfortably furnished, all rooms are centrally heated and are extremely well equipped, with tea and coffee making facilities, colour TV and alarm clock radio. Hair dryers and an ironing board are available on request.

Ambleside Guest House is literally only minutes away from all the historic sites York has to offer.On street parking is available by use of parking permit. Please ask at reception on arrival.A welcome tray will be waiting for you on arrival - replenished daily.
