Description:
The Albion House Inn is just down the block from the new Octavia Boulevard, an enchanting pedestrian walkway with sidewalk cafes, boutiques, trees and flowers lining this charming promenade that local residents fought so hard to create when the freeway was taken down; this is another extraordinary example, just like the cable cars, of how San Franciscans struggle to keep the beauty and uniqueness of this fantastic city. Come see why our guests think of Albion House Inn as their "home away from home in San Francisco."Enjoy our comfortable rooms that include a private bathroom, full 3-course American breakfast, wine and cheese by the fireplace in a glorious living room with 20 foot Redwood beams and columns. Guests report the ambience is warm and comforting, that nurtures and quiets the soul!
Each room offers TV/VCR, telephones and Internet connection for our business travelers, luxury robes, iron and ironing board, hairdryer, shampoo, conditioner, luggage racks, and charm!
We serve coffee cake, pastries or pies on the buffet table during the entire day, along with coffee, tea or decaf to the delight of our guests.
Our friendly staff is here 24 hours a day to pamper our visitors and give you the feeling of being cared for with great consideration in your "home away from home".

Parking: We do not recommend having a car in San Francisco, since this city is only 7 square miles, and most of the famous sites are in a 3-mile area. Parking is difficult enough for those of us who live here; and we have one of the most fabulous bus systems in the world! If you DO bring a car, there are 4-outdoor parking garages in a 2-block radius that charge $4.50, $5, $6 & $7. There are 2-indoor garages within a 3-block walk that charge about $15 for overnight parking.
