Description:
Alaska Adventure Cabins are located on Baycrest Hill overlooking the most breath-taking view in Homer. The panoramic view is so spectacular, that the State of Alaska located the popular scenic pull off right up the hill from our cabins. You will enjoy views of glaciers, the Homer spit, Mt. Augustine volcano, Kachemak Bay and Cook Inlet.
Two cabins, a timber frame lodge, a ship, and a rail car, each with its own unique features, Alaska Adventure Cabins are like having your own private home with all the amenities. We have a large freezer available to our guests for those trophy fish, and a gas grill to barbecue your favorite catch of the day. We would also be pleased to refer you to some of the best charter fishing outfits in Homer, or make sightseeing suggestions for sightseeing excursions from the Homer area.
Alaska Adventure Cabins are like having your own private home with all the amenities. We provide you with plenty of towels and fresh bed linens, however, there is no daily maid service. Your cabin will also have a TV/VCR and tapes and books for your enjoyment. There is a fully equipped kitchen with enough coffee for that first and second morning, and ample spices for cooking your favorite catch. We will not be on property for your visit, but just leave a note and our on-site manager can assist you with questions or concerns.
Homer is located on the Kenai Peninsula, only 225 miles from Anchorage and approximately a 4 to 5 hour drive. Take the Seward Highway South out of Anchorage. You will come to a junction with signs for Seward and Homer. Follow the signs to Homer as you travel along the Sterling Highway. Homer is located at the "end of the road".
