Description:
Welcome to the Achray House Hotel and Self Catering Lodges, St Fillans on Loch Earn, Perthshire. Nestled on the banks of Loch Earn inside the boundaries of the Loch Lomond and Trossachs National Park, Achray House is an ideal base to explore the many treasures of Scotland. The cities of Edinburgh, Glasgow and Stirling are within easy reach as well as the famous smaller villages and towns such as Glen Coe, The Trossachs, Pitlochry, Oban and Glamis that make up Scotland's rich heritage.
The Achray House Hotel is a small family run, country house Hotel set in the tranquil village of St Fillans - right in the heart of Perthshire with spectacular views over Loch Earn to the hills beyond. We also have two luxury self catering lodges to the rear of the hotel and these are detailed in the self-catering section of this website. We offer a warm and welcoming atmosphere, comfortable rooms with all facilities and excellent food and wine provided by Owner and Chef Andrew Scott and his team.
We have 9 bedrooms, 6 doubles & 3 twins. 8 rooms have en suite bathrooms and the ninth has a private bathroom. All rooms have colour TV, alarm radio, direct dial phone, tea & coffee making facilities and are centrally heated. We also have two self-catering lodges positioned to the rear of the hotel and these can be let on a bed and breakfast or dinner, bed and breakfast basis in the low season. An ideal spot for a break away from the stresses and strains of modern life.
Also we have one family room which comprises a large double bedroom with annex bunk bedroom (this room also has access to a family sized bathroom. There is ample space in the main room for a z-bed and/or cot, both of which are available at the hotel. We have one room which is suitable for wheelchair access and a further two rooms on the level flooring of the hotel so no stairs are involved in reaching them. Our eating areas and residents lounge are also on this level.
