Description:
We are a friendly, family-run hotel situated in one of the most picturesque villages in Fife. Aberdour is on the north shore of the Firth of Forth River in Central Scotland.
We specialise in fresh fayre using local Scottish produce where possible and always have a choice of Real Ale on tap once again being included in this years "Camra" Good Beer Guide.Although our buildings date back to the 17th century, all our sixteen bedrooms have en-suite facilities, tea/coffee makers, television and direct-dial telephones.
In the days before railways and the motor car the Aberdour Hotel was a staging-post for stage coaches and so has a courtyard and stable block.
The courtyard is now our car park and the stable block has been converted into five bedrooms, two at ground level affording wheelchair access from the car park. All sixteen bedrooms are en-suite with television, tea/coffee maker and direct-dial telephone.
Our Restaurant page is currently being updated as we are in the process of upgrading the restaurant and changing the menu. We intend to focus on fresh, locally supplied Scottish produce where possible. We have appointed a new Head Chef, Kyle Long. Kyle has big plans to offer a high quality dining experience. He intends to run a 'specials board' along side our new menu offering items such as, Lobster (caught locally), Venison, Monkfish, Scallops, Mussels etc.
There is a new wine list already in place. Most of our wines will be available by small or large glass as well as by the bottle.
