This rare, historic B&B ca 1813 has been completely renovated in 2003 to include private Jacuzzi baths, a gazebo, uncommonly elegant guest rooms with period antiques, a guest living room with wood burning fireplace, private guest TV/Movie room, and outdoor firepot. A sumptuous gourmet breakfast is served daily as is homemade goodies for afternoon tea. The Inn is decorated in original fine art including the award-winning bronze sculptures of owner/innkeeper, Tom White. A Prodigal Inn is located in Bethel, Maine just a couple of miles from the top-notch ski area, Sunday River Ski Resort, and is across from the Androscoggin River in the Western Mountains of Maine. Walking trails through the woods are on the property.
