Whispering Pines is a New Paltz bed & breakfast, only 15 minutes from downtown New Paltz in the middle of 50 private, wooded acres in the beautiful and historic hamlet of High Falls. Mohonk Mountain House hiking and sightseeing only three miles away! Minnewaska Lake swimming, hiking, and cross-country skiing are only a ten-minute drive.
Antiques abound in this romantic Victorian bed & breakfast as you enter a quiet and restful retreat. A grand staircase sweeps upward with a spectacular view in front of windows that reach from the floor to the ceiling. Each of the seven guest rooms has a private bath, TV/VCR, matching robes, access to a full movie library and complimentary sodas, popcorn, snacks and double Jacuzzi.
Breakfast at Whispering Pines is a special treat. Every suite/cottage enjoys the luxury of a private breakfast for two which is delivered to your room at no extra cost. No worries about getting dressed or small talk here! Breakfast is ordered off a menu consisting of 6 choices so there is something for everyone. Each room features a dining area for two.
We serve a weekend holiday buffet breakfast from 8:30 a.m. to 11 a.m.so you can sleep late. It includes fresh fruit, coffee cake, muffins, a main course, gourmet cheeses, cereals, juice, milk, coffee, and tea. On weekday mornings, we serve a continental breakfast at your convenience of fresh fruit, a choice of cereals, coffee cake, coffee, tea, and juice.
