My husband and I arrived at the Inn on a cold and rainy afternoon in late January. We decided to skip oft-visited Savannah for nearby Tybee Island. We were greeted by Kevin who provided hot coffee and cupcakes before the roaring fire. Later that afternoon we met Lloyd, a most gracious host, and enjoyed wine, cheese and snacks with the other congenial guests at the Inn. Wonderful breakfasts' were to follow. By this time, we realized we had selected a gem of a place to stay. Do the chain motels care whether you're wet, uncomfortable, and need some pampering. Certainly not. Lloyd was knowledgeable about places of interest on this small island. In fact, our experience at the Tybee Island Inn was so enjoyable that we will consider bypassing the chain motels in the future, perhaps finding another similar to "Tybee Island Inn."

On Tuesday, January 25, 2011 Tybee Island had one of it's coldest days. Tybee Island Inn's warm fireplace was roaring with real wood keeping it's guests warm all week, and the addition of wine and cheese around the fireplace made it absolutely heavenly. Guests experience heaven often at Tybee Island Bed and Breakfast Inn.
