Touchstone has ample parking for guests, wireless internet service, jacuzzi tubs, far infra-red sauna, and rooms for massage treatments. We serve meals to retreat and workshop guests as well as with some spa packages.
Hotel Policies:
Arrival time: Check-in is from 3-5 pm. Arrivals after 5 PM are left special instructions at the registration door which allows you to arrive at your leisure. You are welcome to stop by the inn before 3 pm. If your room is ready, you may check-in prior to 3 pm. We also have maps of attractions, suggested lunch places and a powder room in case your room isn't quite ready. Check-out is 11 am.
Cancellation policy: Because of the nature and size of our business and our high standards of personal service, we have a limited refund policy on reservation deposits. If you cancel with at least fourteen days' notice prior to arrival, we will refund your deposit minus $30 Handling Fee. With less notice, we will refund your deposit if we are able to fully re-book your reservation. In some cases, we will issue a voucher for a future visit. Please call us as soon as you know you are not coming so we have as much time as possible to re-book for you! If we are unable to re-book your confirmed stay, your deposit is forfeited. We recommend the purchase of trip cancellation insurance, available at most travel agencies. Within fourteen days of arrival you are financially responsible for your entire confirmed stay and will be charged for nights reserved but not used, unless we are able to fill the vacancy. Family Groups, and Events and holidays must cancel 90 days Prior to arrival; Xmas bookings, 12/20 - 1/3 must cancel 60 days prior to arrival.
Non-smoking: We are a non-smoking inn. Smokers willing to smoke outside are welcome! To maintain high housekeeping standards, we do not accommodate guest's pets. We can refer you to a nearby veterinary clinic that boards visiting pets.

Continue on HWY 68/64 thru the main part of town. Stay on the main highway; we are approximately 1 mile north of the Plaza. You will pass Cid’s Food Market on your Right, and shortly after, go across the Rio Pueblo Bridge (3 ft. concrete wall – adobe color) and prepare to turn Right at the Next Street onto Mabel Dodge Lane. Proceed down the lane and take the driveway to the Right, marked with vertical sign: Touchstone, 110 Mabel Dodge Lane.
Traveling South:
As you get into town, pass through the traffic light at Hail Creek Road which is the turnoff to the Pueblo and Casino.
Mabel Dodge Lane is the next street to the Left, and is at the top of slight S curve – there is a middle turning lane. Turn Left and proceed down the lane and take the driveway to the Right, marked with vertical sign: Touchstone, 110 Mabel Dodge Lane.
Nearby Attractions:
Touchstone is within walking distance to the center of town, Taos Plaza. Lighted sidewalks take you to Cid's Food Market offering organic foods and to several restaurants within walking distance. Gallerys, museums, theatre, and music performances are within a short walk of Touchstone. For day trips, one will need an auto.
