We found this lovely Inn with a block of rooms for people with dogs! They are VERY accommodating and knowledgeable about the area. We enjoyed the fine touches including in-room massage, delicious breakfasts, porches with swings, WiFi, fireplace, bathrobes, satellite TV and iPod radio. The area has beautiful hikes, nice restaurants and lake activities. Room Tip: “The rooms for people with dogs are in carriage house. Our dog is old and didn't like climbing the stairs to Harding room. The Eisenhower and Roosevelt rooms on the first floor are much bigger, with sitting areas and whirlpools but more expensive. Lovely decor.”

Thanks for providing another FIVE STAR Glynn House Inn review! We spent 2 nights at the Glynn House and will definitely go back. The room was large, beautifully decorated, very comfortable, and spotless. I mean really spotless -- there was nothing to indicate that this was one of the pet-friendly rooms. Breakfast was delicious and large enough to fuel us into the afternoon. The owners were attentive without being intrusive, very friendly, and extremely accommodating to all of our needs. They seem to love what they do. As for being pet-friendly, they really mean it. Other hotels may grudgingly allow dogs to stay. The Glynn House provided a dog bed, water and food bowls, and dog treats, all without us asking. The owners inquired several times if our dog needed anything. Overall, just a wonderful place.

We had a wonderful two days here celebrating our 25th wedding anniversary. The Jefferson Suite was just what we needed to relax and enjoy some time away from our normal hectic routines. The Inn is incredibly relaxing. You all made us feel right at home. Glenn - thanks for the dinner tips. We've found a new favorite restaurant up here in the north. We enjoyed our stay - the hot tub, the fabulous breakfasts and relaxing with others during wine & cheese. Thanks again!

Breakfasts here can’t be beat – good food and coffee served in the Inn’s beautiful dining room, with gorgeous gold and orange leaves holding center stage out the windows. Glenn, Pam and Ingrid have created a warm and welcoming home away from home – with thoughtful touches like bottles of water, the kitchen, movie library and chocolates. Thanks to you three for everything.
