Brooklin is home to WoodenBoat magazine, numerous boatbuilders, artists and musicians. Its a coastal town of friendly and interesting people with a general store, church, sailloft, library and several craft shops and antique shops.
Activities are pimarily sailing related, although Kyaking, walking in the woods, and simply contemplating roads not taken compete favorably. Brooklin, perched on the shore of Eggomoggin Reach, is central to the other historic towns on the Blue Hill peninsula and Deer Island.
