Safe Harbor
Safe Harbor is a spacious and finely appointed Guest House set on wide lawns, located on Nantucket Harbor at Children's Beach, in Nantucket Town's Old Historic District. Most of our rooms have a water view over the harbor and the yacht basin, all with private bath. Some rooms have private decks. A complimentary continental buffet breakfast, featuring our own home-baked specialties and fresh fruit, is served daily in the dining room.
Nantucket's celebrated restaurants and shops are within a five minute walk, as are the churches, galleries, museums, and historic buildings that draw people to this special island. Jetties beach and tennis courts are a ten minute walk or a three minute bike ride. Children's Beach is across the park next to the Yacht Club. Sailing and fishing charters await you at Old South and Straight Wharves. Public golf courses are located in 'Sconset, at the Island's eastern tip, and at Miacomet, on the South Shore. Of course, Nantucket also offers fifty-four miles of the world's most beautiful beaches.

Safe Harbor was built in 1924, a spacious and airy residence with large rooms taking full advantage of its location in a quiet neighborhood on the water at Brant Point. Furnished with American, European and Oriental antiques and fine reproductions, tastefully decorated, and graced by fresh flowers in season from our own garden, it is one of Nantucket's most pleasing and relaxing guest houses, as well as one of the few with water views.

Breezes off the harbor cool our rooms. The lawns and verandah are conducive to picnicking, reading and relaxing. We offer wireless high-speed internet access and air-conditioning in all guest rooms. With our central location, quiet neighborhood, attractive water views, attention to detail, reasonable rates and respect for privacy, Safe Harbor is regarded as one of the Island's particular values.

Our family was vacationing in Cape Cod and decided to visit Nantuckett. We discovered there were very few lodging options for a family with a 3 year old. Nantuckett Inn proved to be a perfect selection. The staff is friendly and professional. The room was ideal. We enjoyed the indoor pool, gardens and restaurant. The shuttle service was perfect for us to get back and forth into town. Thanks for everything.
