Robertson House B&B, Penn Yan

Historic home nestled in quaint village of finger lakes @ the top of Keuka Lake. B&B offers 4 rooms @ this site all with en suite bathrooms including a 2-room suite. An off-site seasonal lakeside house available middle of May thru October that features 2 bedrooms, living room, kitchan and bath.


The area is known for it's rich historical flavor, Mennonite community, beautiful finger lakes, waterfalls and most recently, wineries. From the greens of spring to the rich browns and russets of autumn, guests will find a plethora of things to do and explore.

Come step back in time in the village of Penn Yan, buckwheat capitol of the world. Penn Yan was also voted one of the "Best 100 Small towns in America." Mennonite horse and buggies trott on our streets and Keuka Lake beckens with her glistening vistas and green valleys. Wineries and vineyards dot the hillsides overlooking the lake. Take a 15 min. drive east or west and you'll discover Canandaigua or Seneca Lakes. You can spend time at the renowned Food Culinary Institute or hike Watkins Glen State Park in the same day. Saturdays and holidays the Windmill Farm and Craft Market beckens even the most reluctant shopper. From handmade furniture and quilts to cutlery and fresh baked goods, there's something to interest everyone...or just sit in the shade and listen to one of the live music presentations.

Robertson House provides an oasis of comfort and charm for quests getting away from everyday activities. The huge living room offers quiet reading nooks and conversation areas, and internet access is available for quests in the adjoining library. Wireless access is available throughout the house.

Martha's Room features a victorian motif complete with tin ceiling, king bed and small sitting parlor. The new oversized bathroom offers both a walk-in shower and ladies slipper tub.

Eleanor's Room is a romantic getaway from life with heart of pine wide planked floors, and a grape/berry decor. The comfortable queen bed and large bathroom with jacuzzi tub/shower combo make for a most pleasant interlude.

The Welcome Wagan Room looks out over the village park. Squirrels can be seen jumping from tree to tree through the hand-blown glass 6 foot high windows. A queen brass bed, Americana motif and full ensuite bath/shower encourage our guests to loiter.

The flag room is a comfortable true american red, white and blue 2-bedroom suite perfect for multiple adults or families. An oak queen bed occupies the main room while the adjoining room boasts twin beds (king). The remodeled bath has a walk-in shower. It can be rented as a one or 2-room suite.

A 4.5 mile drive from the main house will bring you to our seasonal cottage open May thru October. It overlooks Keuka lake and is only a few feet from the beach. It features two bedrooms one king; one queen. A living room, full kitchen, and full bath/shower make a comfortable respite away from home for either one or two couples (traveling together) or a small family. An open deck out front adds views of the lake and sunrise is garenteed!
