Situated on a crest rising above Plumer Road, Plumercrest is a fine example of Victorian Italianate architecture. The grounds include gardens, a gazebo and the Plumer Cemetery. Plumercrest was built by the great granddaughter of Governor William Plumer, on his estate. This stately mansion, built by this prominent family, reveals the grandeur of the Victorian era; high ceilings, elaborate moldings, and spacious rooms.
