Old Bridge Inn, Jeffersonville

Seconds to Louisville, Kentucky, this neo-classical was built by a prominent Jeffersonville family in 1836. The entire house, which has a fireplace in the parlor, is decorated with antiques and features five beautiful bedrooms, all with private baths and fireplaces, which can accommodate up to 18 people. Among the many amenities you will enjoy are a full breakfast and complimentary beverages. The inn is named for the old Big Four Railroad bridge which can be seen from the inn, spans the river and is know locally as the bridge that goes nowhere.

This National Register home is conveniently located within walking distance of shops, restaurants and the Ohio River. The Falls of the Ohio fossil beds are a short drive from the Inn along the river, as well as the Howard Steamboat Museum.

The Old Bridge Inn is conveniently located in the heart of Jeffersonville's Historic District, seconds to the interstates (I-65,I-64, and I-71) Louisville, KY., and within walking distance of antique shops, restaurants and the Ohio River where river boats cruise and carriage rides are available in warm weather. This is the oldest building hosting a bed and breakfast in the region and the only bed and breakfast in Jeffersonville that is truly a historic building. It has not been altered by additions since 1898 and has never been gutted. Many claim to be historic but only the exterior walls or facade are all that remain of many advertised historic buildings.
