Off The Road House, Tok

Off The Road House stands out from other establishments, due to the many personal and colorful accents added within. Upon walking in the main room, the original furnishings and bright accessories such as Stained Glass windows from the owner's own studio, paintings and photographs catch your eye. We welcome you to stay with us in one of our comfortable rooms when you make Tok your destination.

Present capacity is eight to ten, with two rooms that can accommodate two or three, a roomy cabin across the lawn that sleeps up to three as well, and two roll-a-way-beds in the large living area. The bathroom facilities for the existing guest quarters are in the main house, easily accessible and private.

We welcome you year around and if you wish we will be happy to assist you with your vacation and travel planning. We are longtime residents of Interior Alaska, have many connections to the land and the indigenous people, and would like for you to have unforgettable experiences in this great Northern wilderness.

In the morning over coffee is the time to have philosophical and other conversations about life. This is when International Friendship is lived and discussed. Depending on the company the chats are taking place in English, German and Swabian, and/or a little Italian and Spanish.
