Lodge at Rivers Edge, Basalt

Lodge at River’s Edge has five distinctive guest rooms, each with a private bath. Each room has its own special character, ambience and décor. All of the rooms feature an unobstructed view of the river complete with the soothing sound of water rushing over rocks and boulders. All have feather beds, luxurious linens, down comforters and pillows.

Each room also has a refrigerator, coffee maker, personal hair dryer, and a massager for easing those tired muscles at the end of a long day of outdoor recreation. Attention to detail and a commitment to luxury is the signature of each guest room at Lodge at River’s Edge.

The River Room is our south-facing riverfront room. With a sumptuous king bed and a balcony over looking the rushing Frying Pan River, you can’t get any closer to the river unless you sleep on a raft.The River Room is included with the Lodge rental and can not be rented separately. Rental rates for the Lodge (4 bedrooms) start at $1,000 per night. There is a 4 night minimum reservation for the Lodge.

Enjoy relaxing by the river in your own private sitting area just outside the cabin’s front door! The cabin is located directly on the Frying Pan River and is one block to Basalt's restaurants and shops.

The Frying Pan River from Ruedi Dam downstream to the confluence with the Roaring Fork River at Basalt is state-designated Gold Medal Water. Thrill to 14 miles of incredible tailwater trout fishing on the Frying Pan River. There are sections of the river that provide year-round fishing opportunities for many anglers, and any section of these 14 miles of river is capable of producing a trophy fish. With healthy populations of rainbow, brown, cutthroat, and brook trout, a fisherman has the chance to land a “grand slam” of trout on any given day.
