Lawnmere Inn, Boothbay Harbor

Tucked into a secluded inlet with magnificent views of the water, the Lawnmere Inn is a vintage Victorian jewel. Cheerful yellow shutters and flower boxes overflowing with brilliant blooms greet you just as they have done for over 100 years. Included in your stay is a complimentary country breakfast.

The Lawnmere Inn is your gateway to miles of scenic country roads and varying coastline. Hop on one of the inn’s bicycles for a hassle-free trip to town, or check out the harbor seals and osprey from one of our kayaks. Of course, an Adirondack chair will be waiting for you when you return.

The Lawnmere Inn is a dining destination in the area. The dining room serves dinner every night from June 1 until Columbus Day Weekend (unless we are hosting a wedding or special event), and lunch is served daily from 11:30 am – 2:30 pm. The Groggy Lobster Pub is open daily from 4 pm- 10 pm with a full and Pub menu available. The chef and his staff enjoy making your food experience at the Lawnmere Inn a highlight of your visit to Maine. The restaurant has a full bar and extensive wine list. We received 4-1/2 stars for our food and service in the Maine Sunday Telegram.

Our guest rooms are located in the Main Inn and adjacent East and West Wing buildings. You can choose from cozy rooms with king, queen or double beds. Rooms in the main inn, Hideaway Cottage and Pine View Guest House have air conditioning. All rooms include telephone, private bath and daily maid service. Most rooms are water view.
