Built in the 1830s, Gilbert's Tree Farm Bed & Breakfast is centrally located to several New England attractions. Guests enjoy hiking trails and home-cooked meals. Owner Jeanne Gilbert, a retired newspaper writer/photographer and horseback riding instructor, and her husband, Donald Beardsworth, enjoy assisting guests in planning their vacation. The facility is also available for corporate and spiritual retreats, workshops, seminars and Victorian Teas.
We are located one hour south of Boston, MA, and 15-minutes east of Providence, R. I.
From Providence, RI, take Rte. 195 east for about 10 miles to Exit 3 in Massachusetts. Turn right onto Rte. 6 east. At first traffic light turn left onto Rte. 118 north. Follow 2.9 miles. Turn right onto Spring Street. Our driveway is exactly one mile on the left.
