Once home to the famous Impressionist artist Edgar Degas, the Degas House Historic Home, Courtyard & Inn is a masterpiece of history and hospitality. This beautifully restored property is located on majestic Esplanade Avenue just north of the French Quarter. The home is lavishly furnished with antique and reproduction furniture and features an extensive collection of Degas reproduction prints and sculpture. We offer four luxury guestrooms and four expanded suites, ideal for daily, short term or long term corporate rentals. We provide bed and breakfast style lodging, featuring a deluxe continental breakfast on weekdays and a delicious hot Creole breakfast on weekends and special events.
