The Chieftain Inn is situated on the bank of New Hampshire's most vast and powerful river, the Connecticut River. Thus, you are offered the perfect get-a-way. Unwind at the Chieftain Inn as you enjoy the peaceful serenity of nature. Picturesque scenery offers a tranquil setting, plenty of fishing, canoeing and boating activities for the warmer months.

As an Inn, we offer 22 rooms. In addition to adjoining rooms, we also have various suites that are ideal for families. Our rooms have either a King Sleigh bed or two Full size beds. Recently renovated, half of the rooms have direct access to our outdoor heated swimming pool.

All rooms have stunning views of the Connecticut River, access to our complimentary canoes, barbeque areas, pool and gazebo. All rooms have individual heating and air conditioning controls, private baths (some with tubs), color cable television and direct dial telephones with e-mail hookup. High Speed WiFi is available in the main house and our "Internet Cafe". We are a Pet Friendly lodging facility.

You are not alone. The Chieftain Inn offers an on-site function coordinator to help you with all your planning: caterers, entertainment, photographers, videographers, florists and other logistics like tent rental or even a custom wedding dress. If you prefer to use an off-site consultant, our coordinator will work along side of them to ensure your event's success.
