At Chestnut Hill Inn, a year round facility, we offer several rooms. Each has its own individual charm. Most rooms are available with private baths and some have screened porches.
A sitting area around a wood stove is available on the first floor as well as two additional sitting areas on the upper level.Outside, a lovely screened porch and open decks surround the property.

The Chestnut Hill Inn is located on the Town of Long Island in Casco Bay, off the coast of Portland, Maine. A 45 minute ferry ride on Casco Bay Lines brings you to Marriner Wharf, facing the Long Island Town Hall. Long Island has a long history in New England, having been inhabited for nearly 400 years. Its primary activities are fishing, farming, and tourism.

Guides to Portland's Old Port shopping district and area outlet stores are available to our guests. Information on area attractions, daily or evening cruises, whale watching, golfing, dining, dancing and entertainment, etc., are all available. Many visitors enjoy searching for our wildflowers and watching the numerous bird species found on Long Island. For our guests' convenience, we will supply beach wagons, bicycles and sand chairs on a first come, first-served basis.
