Chalets at Tudor Rose, Salida

Offering so much more than a typical cabin rental, these chalets are the perfect headquaters for your Rocky Mountain family vacation. Each chalet will sleep up to six in three queen beds and features 2 baths, a cozy fireplace and full kitchen. The Great Room has 20’ vaulted ceilings covered in knotty pine and features massive windows facing the mountains and surrounding views. A very large fireplace, TV with DVD and CD, overstuffed couch and chairs highlight this huge room. The main floor has a Master bedroom with Queen bed and a Master bath with shower and two sinks. The fully equipped kitchen has everything needed to cook for six, microwave, four burner gas stove/oven, full fridge, all utensils pots and pans. Up the log staircase to the loft which has two queen beds and a full bath with tub/shower. An outdoor gas grill on the covered porch makes grilling a breeze. Two opening skylights offer awesome views of the night sky as well as ventilation. These also have day/night shades for the late sleepers. Stone tile, locally crafted peeled log railing, custom cabinetry and furniture compliment these comfortable chalets.


Our Chalets are nestled in the pinon pines on our 37 private and secluded acres and they all have awsome views of the Rocky Mountains. Much of our local wildlife such as deer, elk, rabbits, coyotes and birds frequent the area. We have a 3/4 mile hiking trail to explore the property. We are also, only 1 1/2 miles to historic downtown Salida where there are many shops, galleries and restaurants to enjoy.

Salida is located in a valley surrounded by majestic mountains with 15 of them being over 14,000' high. There are many outdoor activities to do such as downhill skiing/snowboarding, cross crountry skiing, snowmobiling in the winter and whitewater rafting, mountain biking and hiking in the summer.

The Arkansas river runs through downtown Salida is one of the best fisheries for trout in the United States.

Salida is about 3 hours SW of Denver and 2 hours W of Colorado Springs

Rates are $200 a night for two persons
Add $25 per person up to a maximum of 6 per Chalet
No charge for children less than 1, but still counts towards a person
