We love our proximity to mountains and strikingly beautiful sections of the historic Connecticut River, accessible in season by narrated cruises describing the historic and environmental heritage of this 'National Historic River', or by canoe and kayak.

Once the residence of the Northfield Academy president, Centennial House welcomes current and prospective students, parents and alumni of Linden Hill, Northfield Mount Herman, Deerfield Academy, Stoneleigh Burnham and Center schools, the Five College consortium (including the University of Massachusetts, Smith College, Amherst College, Hampshire College and Mt. Holyoke College), Keene State College, the School for International Training in Brattleboro and many other educational institutions.
