A short drive takes you to Fort Taber Park where a Civil War era stone fort dominates and walking paths provide open views of Buzzard's Bay and the Elizabeth Islands.

Our central South Coast location makes day tripping or through travel convenient to Cape Cod, Boston, Providence, Newport, and the Islands. Kayak and bicycle rentals are available. You can hike beaches or wooded trails, or drive the stone wall lined byways and villages of the South Coast towns.
