Angels Rest On Resurrection Bay LLC
Open March thru September. These incredibly charming and extremely clean cabins are the only modern waterfront cabins in all of Seward, Alaska. They sit right on the shores of Resurrection Bay. They are perfect for that very special vacation, honeymoon or other special occasion. The views of wildlife & scenery are amazing.

CABINS: The Gatehouse and Cloud 9 cabins, sit as close to the water as possible. The Wing Cabin sits between them, just a few feet back from the water. Each have one queen bed, that faces the windows, for spectacular views from bed! The Gatehouse cabin is fully wheelchair accessible and all three cabins have private bath with shower, small kitchenette for light cooking, comfortable sitting chairs and the most amazing views.

The new Heron's Roost Cabin is a 4 unit cabin; each unit a tiny cabin like room. 4 units each private entrances and 1 queen bed, private bath with shower and small kitchenette for light cooking. Two units have an optional 2nd bedroom with 1 twin (single) bed, perfect for a small family or a couple of singles traveling together. All rooms offer great views of bay and mountains!

These cabins are tiny havens of comfort and relaxation; be sure to allow enough time in Seward to take advantage of all the activities and to relax for a while at these very special cabins. Although we do not offer breakfast, these cabins are equipped with small kitchenettes and we provide coffee, tea and everything you need to cook light meals with.

RATES: rates range depending on the season. During the Off-Season (March, April, part of May and 2nd half of September) we offer the lowest rates (LOWER than the range that is posted on this site!). We also offer discounts for your length of stay, the longer you stay, the better your rate! We encourage "green/earth friendly" travel! During summer (May 15 - Sept 15) rates START at $159 and go upward depending on the unit. A three night stay on the waterfront is $199 a night in 2010.

LOCATION and area attractions: We are located 3 miles south of Seward Alaska on Lowell Point, on the shores of Resurrection Bay. Seward is home to the Alaska SeaLife Center and Kenai Fjords National Park. Other local activities include salt water fishing (salmon and halibut), kayaking (sea and lake), rafting, dog sledding, hiking, boating, sailing, just to name a few.

DIRECTIONS: It’s best to have a car when you come to Seward, although there are other ways to get here which we would be happy to help you figure out; we’re 120 miles south of the nearest large airport, located in Anchorage, Alaska. Finding us is easy! Take the Seward Highway south to the end in Seward. Turn right and take Lowell Point Road all the way to Border Ave., take Border Ave. to the waterfront and turn left onto Beach Drive and drive north to the first waterfront cabins. Our Heron’s Roost building is across the street to the left. To find the Hobbit Loft you will turn on Shady Lane before you reach the waterfront. This place looks cute and the location can't be beat. We drove by but stayed elsewhere because we never received a reply to our online request for a reservation.

We stayed at the Inn at Tern Lake, and it was just fabulous! what a beautiful home...so clean and the hosts were wonderful. the breakfasts all homemade and good and filling and tasty. I highly recommend this Inn at Tern Lake. It's centrally located, so we took trips to the Kenai Fjords and went to Homer with the Inn as our base camp.
