Alaska Host Bed and Breakfast opened its doors in 1996. Your hosts, Kathy and Jim Huston, live in a spacious home on two-hundred acres with a private lake and hiking trails. Moose and other Alaskan wildlife are frequent visitors to the peaceful estate.

The house is decorated with many Alaska wild game mounts, furs, and Alaskan videos and books. Children are always welcome. Jim has been an Alaska resident for 45 years. Jim works for the Alaska state parks and can show you unique places to visit and activities. He has had many adventures and is willing to share them with you.

Kathy has been here for 25 years and loves to work in the yard, pick berries and work on her crafts. She enjoys cooking and will whip up a great breakfast during your stay. She loves to walk and ski the many trails around the property and will escort any guest who would like to get some exercise.

There are many lakes and great fishing spots in Willow. Hatcher Pass has a beautiful view, gold mining and Independence Mine, a state historic site. Denali National Park is just three hours away. It makes our bed and breakfast a great place to stay before or after a trip to Denali Park.

My husband and I wanted to experience the REAL Alaska and found this fantastic B & B in Willow, Mile 66 Parks Highway on the way to Denali. We loved the fact Alaskan Host B & B was just off the highway yet with 200 acres to give you that "out in the woods" feeling. Couldn't fault our Alaska-theme room, with our own bathroom, amd we sure made use of the two lakes and walking trails. Best of all we saw lots of wildlife and birdlife on their property and got lots of pictures to take home. We liked the wildlife museum and observatory and felt really at home with their wonderful hospitality and hot breakfast. I wish the other places we stayed at during our Alaskan trip were half as good as this one. Hoffmans
