This magnificent bed and breakfast was built specifically with your comfort in mind. Each of the guest suites have a private bath. Come relax and enjoy all the special features that set this B&B aside from all the others you have ever experienced. Beautifully decorated with maple and walnut flooring, cozy leather furnishings, lots of sunlight and soft and bold greens throughout. The exterior is sided in green slate that resembles native Alaskan jade. A second story balcony featuring the same warm rich hardwoods overlooks the living room.
Guests are welcome to enjoy coffee in the kitchen while your hosts put the final touches on a breakfast that all the guests rave about. The House of Jade is centrally located. Some local points of interest within minutes of the House of Jade are: The Museum of Natural History and Fine Art; three Hospitals; the University of Alaska Anchorage; and, the Alaska Native Heritage Center where you can personally meet Alaskan artisans. Breakfast is served between 7:30 and 9:00 a.m. However, exceptions can be prearranged if necessary. In the event guests check out prior to 7:30 a.m., a continental breakfast will be available upon request. Beverages are available 24 hours. The B&B is a non-smoking facility. You are welcome to smoke outdoors on the porch or deck. Laundry is available with prior arrangement. Check in is after 3:00 p.m. Check out is noon. You need not worry about pet allergies since there are no pets in residence.
